TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and services provided by Octopus Reels ('we', 'our', 'us'). By placing a booking and making payment, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms.

1. Booking & Payment Structure

1.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.

1.2 The remaining 50% balance shall be due within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.3 Any outstanding balance not paid within seven (7) calendar days from the event date shall be subject to late payment interest at the rate of 3% per month, calculated on a daily basis, until full payment is received.

1.4 Octopus Reels reserves the right to withhold delivery of digital files, physical products, or final deliverables until full payment has been made.

1.5 All prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and may be revised without notice for unconfirmed bookings.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

2.1 Deposits are strictly non-refundable as they secure your event date and block availability for other clients.

2.2 Cancellations more than 30 days before the event will result in forfeiture of deposit only.

2.3 Cancellations 14–30 days before the event may result in up to 75% of the total invoice being chargeable.

2.4 Cancellations less than 14 days before the event may result in 100% of the total invoice being chargeable.

2.5 One (1) complimentary reschedule is permitted, subject to availability, and must occur within 6 months of the original booking date.

2.6 If we are unavailable on the requested rescheduled date, the booking will be treated as a cancellation and the deposit remains non-refundable.

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Clients must obtain venue approval for all equipment and services booked.

3.2 Clients must ensure adequate power supply, sheltered space, and safe operating conditions at the venue.

3.3 Clients are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment caused by guests, negligence, or misuse.

3.4 Any repair or replacement costs arising from such damage shall be borne by the client.

4. Service Limitations & Liability

4.1 We shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by venue restrictions, power failures, weather conditions, government regulations, or force majeure events.

4.2 In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, we will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue or provide a suitable alternative.

4.3 Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the affected service.

4.4 We are not responsible for guest behaviour, crowd control, or interference from third-party vendors.

5. Media Usage & Intellectual Property

5.1 Unless otherwise requested in writing, we reserve the right to use event setup photos or non-sensitive media for marketing and portfolio purposes.

5.2 All templates, booth designs, concepts, and creative materials remain the intellectual property of Octopus Reels or its partners.

5.3 Clients are granted personal usage rights for delivered media files. Commercial resale or reproduction without written consent is prohibited.

6. Digital Deliverables

6.1 Digital files will be delivered via agreed digital platforms after full payment is received.

6.2 Once delivered, digital products are considered fulfilled and are non-refundable.

7. Third-Party Vendors

7.1 Where services are fulfilled in collaboration with third-party vendors, we coordinate delivery but are not liable for independent vendor negligence beyond reasonable control.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
